OK the company is RPM (reciveables Performance management) My self and my roommate (a friend never a couple I am married and it is my husbands best friend) started getting calls from a place in VA last week. within minutes of each other. I hardly answer numbers I do not know so I wait and see iff they leave a voicemail and then call back. Well they didnt leave a message for either of us. After a few days of them calling I finally said I am going to answer and see who this is (google didnt give me any info) and I finally speak to a guy there. He tells me oh.. you owe a bill to XXX Hospital.

I was in the hospital last year for five days, and did not have insurance. I could not afford to pay the hospital bills, due to my house being in foreclosure and being unemployed. Allied Interstate is now constantly harrassing me, and I was planning to call them back to set up a payment plan and make the calls stop. I am now pregnant, and still in the process of losing my house, so I cannot afford much but cannot deal with the stress anymore.

I received a call from cs store yesterday 10/4 and the message says that they have been trying to contact me and work out payment arrangements for the past two weeks with no success. Now my accounts is being moved on for further action (or something like that). I wonder what that means? I have not received any calls from checksmart today.

(if I posted this in the wrong forum, mods can move it if need be) I have a few questions that maybe some can help point me in the right direction. I'm being sued in small claims court by Lustig, Glaser & Wilson, P.C for a old credit card debit from Juniper. I revived notice of the court date which is this month only a few days ago. Prior to this I didn't receive or didn't notice any other mailings from this debit collector. Nor did I receive any certified mailings on the matter.

I live in Missouri and I have 3 owed PDLs. 2 online, 1 store front. I know that one is illegal thus I would need to send the letter revoking ACH, etc and only pay principal. I closed/transfered my bank account over today. My question is really what steps should I take to pay the amounts back? I really don't think I will be able to pay them back within 4 pay checks, however. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi everyone, I have been following the great advice on this forum. Can someone direct me how to respond to this e-mail I received from PDL Support. She sent it right after I spoke to her. She said that she was calling for VIP Loan Shop. It was a $400 and I paid $360 in finance charges. I respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you were agreeing to.

I have about $37k in credit card debt and I have not make a payment in about 3 months or so and i'm considering trying to settle the debt on my own rather than using the services of a debt settlement company. From what I have read in doing research it seems that many debt settlement companies charge fees every month and don't settle any accounts, so i'd rather not go that route. Is there any advice anyone can give me on how to go about settling my own debt? Is debt settlement a difficult process?

Hey everyone! To make a long story short, a few months ago, I had my wages garnished and because of the garnishment I had to neglect some of my bills. I ended up applying for some payday loans and never agreed to any contract. Advantage Cash Services deposited $300 into my bank account.. I paid them back $360 before closing my back account. After I closed my account, they began harassing my employer. I recently quit my employer and Advantage Cash Services basically told me they are going to harass any new employer I get.

Please any help would be appreciated, I used this website years ago when I first was being sued prior to my bankruptcy and it really helped me ALOT and I would be so great full for any information you can give me about my situation. sorry in advance for the long post! I have received a letter from GEM financial stating they will sue me for an unpaid debt. I called to find out what credit card company the original debt was from and the guy on the phone said it was from a chase credit card that was opened in 2003. I filled bankruptcy in 2008 and was given a discharge in 2009.
