Ok.. I admit it... I got sucked into the cycle. Here is my delima... To date I have had 2 PDL's with Ameriloan and am currently on my 3rd. The total of all 3 comes to 1500. (450, 550 and 500)So I am getting farther behind on what really matters as the bills go because of this. To date I have paid Ameriloan a total of $3455.00 that is an "overpayment of $2455.00. What can I do to make them stop debiting my account? I have read somethings about a hard freeze on ACH's and closing the account. Just want to make sure I dot my I's and cross my T's. Also..

I am a stay at home mom, I went to college back in 1994/95...I received OSAP. and was unable to pay back the loan.It has been 16 years since then. I would like to go back to school and take a course..I currently have 2 children and recently separated after 12 years of marriage. Is it possible to receive assistance from OSAP? If not, are there any other options that I might be eligible for? I have full custody of my two children ages 10 and 8, and in need of returning to school as I am financially struggling. I just talked to someone at TD Bank, and I closed my account but they said that they will accept any debits for 30 days!!! I told tham that it was illegal in NJ to take out money for my pay day loans and the rep actually said NO!! She said that it is not illegal in NJ and that the only way payday loans would be illegal is if they were operating in NJ and I said no you're wrong but they won't budge!! They won't put a block on my account or anything!! I don't know what to do.

Hello, I applied for a 300 dollar loan from UnitedCashLoans and received the loan, with the interest being 90 dollars a pay week. I have requested to pay my loan in full so that i could get rid of this BS for once I found out I would not be able to pay the full 390 so I emailed the company asking if there was any way to rectify this. They emailed me back saying if the debit was returned they would try again the next business day with a one time 30 dollar fee. Through the awesome info on this site i found out payday loans are illegal, what should I do?

How does one deal with loans from Indian Reservations who claim they have their own laws and rules? Are they legal in Illinois. I have one from South Dakota?

i put a add on craigslist for some baby items. well this guy frank emailed me [well so i dont know if it was a he or she. they never told me there name there email just said frank on it ] but they emailed me saying they wanted to buy it so we had been emailing eachother about it for bout a week. they live in arizona and i live in cali well aparntly there mover was going to pick up the items. well then he email me saying his assistant maid the checks for $990.00 there was 2 checks for that much in my name. and he said for me to cash the checks and take out whats mine and send the rest back.

Will try to keep things brief as possible - due to job change in household, has been difficult to keep up on cred cards/mort/etc. Long story short, about 30 days ago made the decision to stop paying on credit cards as we were falling behind on house payment. Have about $26K in credit card debt - about $16K wrapped up in 3 cards, $10K in another 7-8 cards.
