I've finally have the nerve to post after reading so many stories. Believe me they have been encouraging and hopefully will get me out of this HORRIBLE HORRIBLE mess I am in. I am so scared that I am going to lose my mind & sanity. I need to get this under control!!!!!! I've taken 9 Payday loans. I have paid some, but can not continue. It is affecting my other bills even my mortgage!!!! I resdie in Florida.

I'm seeing that sometime in 2010 CACH changed it's name to Square Two Financial. After looking around here and the internet, that's all I see about it. I'm currently being sued by CACH, LLC. If they changed their DBA name, shouldn't they be suing me as Square Two Financial? Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Pointers in the right direction for relevant information?

Is Capital One Services LLC considered a collection agency for Capital One Bank, NA? Received a letter from Cap One Services saying they are a debt collector, original creditor Capital One Bank, but with no 30 day debt validation mentioned. Isnt this a violation of FDCPA. They do seem tough only taking $400 0ff a $7600 balance, will have to get closer to charge off and see what happens.

I looked at my credit report, and saw that recently I had an unknown collection agency do a soft pull (viewable by me) of my CR. I then see an entry for the following day, that was a hard pull (viewable by all). I have never heard of or from them, nor have I ever recieved any communications from them. I had the same thing show up from another CA, that I did hear from, but never responded to my DV letter. The hard pulls obviously affect your report in a negative way, as anyone who pulls it and recognizes these CAs will have negative thoughts.

I live in Colorado and had an auto loan that went into default. I received a notice of right to cure on 10/4/04. With last date for payment being 10/24/04. I did not respond at the time. I have a statement of repossession with 3 different dates on it. Date of lien was 5/7/04, deliquent date 2/1/05 and possession date 8/22/05 and it was signed on 8/30/05. Which of these dates does the statute of limitations run from? I understand the statute of limitations is 6 years in CO but what date does that begin? I was served papers in May of 2011. Thanks in advance.

Anyone heard of this outfit? They called from 716-204-1815. Same message I have heard from scammers saying he needs to obtain a verbal statemenr from me or my legal representative priot to filing in New Castle County. I have no idea what its for...... Thoughts?

How long does it take for a credit card company to turn you over to a 3rd party collection agency? I have been advised to ignore any calls from the credit card companies...that it will take about 3 months for them to turn you over to a collection agency. I am planning on filing bankruptcy and was just wondering how long the harrassment will last. So far, I have only defaulted on a few cards...the rest don't even know I am doing this yet.
