I now work for another agency but I am not going to say which one. I am still collecting on student loans for the Department of Education in the Admin Wage Garnishment Unit. So - I was battling 8 illegal PDLs and Ameriloan never responded to my cease and desist nor my request for a refund of overpayment. I just get a phone call now from a very rude man named ABDUL (no last name or adress he would give) telling me he would settle with me for anothe $680!!!! This is a loan I have already PIF on principal on and I demand a $200 REFUND of my overpayment. (I live in NJ) I tol him to send me a letter and stop calling me and that I sent them a cease and desist weeks ago. He said to fax it to them.

I have several internet loans that were all taken out in June: Eastside Lenders - 300 (already paid $90) Ameriloan - 300 (already paid $90) mycashnow - 750 (already paid $225) Zip19 (Northway Financial Corporation Ltd) - 500 Grenierprises (GRE) through signmyloan.net - 300 (already paid $61) I have closed my bank acct so all of these will default on Monday, 8/15 (the date they are to be debited from my acct) I need some guidance and the steps I need to take now. I am in SC. I cant find the payday loan laws and regulations or a list of legal lenders.

I received a "pretend" certified packet from Michael Scott. I am prentend because the envelope said certified but the only thing they had to sign was the orange slip you usualy get in your mailbox and some lady, not a postal employee delivered it. She showed up while I was at work and unknowlingly my daughter signed. In the packey it states that he has an abstract judgement on me and he sent discovery questions. There is no acct number it simply states FIA card services. I have NEVER received anything stating I was being sued so I dont know how he got the abstract judgement.

My husband and I have 4 payday loans that we obtained from the internet. We are paying more than we can afford and need help. We live in Maryland and have 2 different checking accounts. the first checking account has a restraint placed on it so only deposits can go in. What can we do to stop these lenders from causing out second checking account from being overdrawn each month.

hi all, i have been reading and trying to figure my way out of the mess i created. i am in texas i have 4 internet loans. i went to the bank and we put stop pymts on all of them as i am positive 3 are illegal and i have over paid at least one. please review and if you know if any of these are illegal in tx. i cked the cso in tx and only found cashnetusaas registered but unsure about plain green as its a installment loan.

I have been reading all the posts on payday loans to try to end the misery that i am going through. From what I've read, the principal is the only amount of money that I am obligated to pay back to Great Sky Cash as payday loans are illegal in Georgia. The principal was $300 and $360 was taken out of my checking account before I could finally get it closed. Alliance Funding is now calling my job and home threatening me and I want to know what letters to send to them. When they found out that my checking account was closed, Alliance has become a royal pain.

Hello and thanks to everyone an advance. We accrued about $73,000 in credit cards debt over the past 3 years, due to my husband's loss of 30% income and unexpected medical bills. No more savings, trying to stay on a top with our house. Borrowed from 401K 15K ( which is max allowed) to pay some credit cards off.

I apologize if this was discussed somewhere but has anyone dealt with Net Cash 123- formerly 24 Loan Store? They are ignoring all my letters and emails, and keep calling my phone. I can't find an address for them. I have two loans through them and the only amount left that I owe on my premium is $20.00. I'm trying to get a way to send it to them but no one will answer me! What should I do?

I'm in Calif. I only have 2 pdls - one from Redstone ($400) - paying $140 every 2 weeks (made two payments). One from CashNet for $2600 - paying $208 every 2 weeks (14 payments - approx $1500 balance). I don't want to default BUT I need a break to get caught up on other bills. Went to my bank today and issued stop payment orders for both loans for this Friday ($70 fee!). Friday morning I'm going to close the account and move the funds (and my direct deposits) to another bank. What should I expect to happen next?
