how can i get an easy one every month payment for all my debt .which is a money from friends and credit cards.

Hi. I hope you can inform me what, if any, is the statute of limitation on a credit card debt that I thought was paid off two years ago but now am getting calls about from a debt collection agency.

I have about $37k in loans currently serviced by Texas Guaranteed and in default. I have been in Administrative Wage Garnishment for a couple of years. I don't have enough extra income to do 9 months of rehab and the Texas Guaranteed FAQ states that Direct Loan Consolidation is not available for those in AWG. I'm trying to confirm this as I seem to recall reading that consolidation WAS available for defaults in AWG after 3 months of extra payments AND if I agreed to IBR/ICR for repayment. Does anyone have any experience or advice with Texas Guaranteed and consolidation?

hello... i have seen questions about this type of thing & need help. I had to go through THINK CASH/ 1ST BANK OF DELAWARE; AMONGST A COUPLE OF OTHER PAY DAY PLACES FOR HELP WITH MY FINANCES. its obviously more trouble than they say...however, through many problems this year, I havent been able to pay THINK CASH the entire amount due ( about $1000). They are now calling me from a law firm saying that they will call my employer & get my pay garnished in order to pay them back unless I comply to pay them within a few months.

I met someone online and we have been talking for almost month, and he sent me a check, (he is in England and as he said his friend in here, his friend owed him a money instead of sending to england, he sent it to me) it was 2000 dollar, asked me to get 1000 of it and send me back rest of it to england, I am really unsure about the check and I deposited it, what I have to do? If it is a fake check? Do i need to go the bank and report my situation? Please help me? because I am so afraid it might a fake check.

Hello everyone, I'll get right to it. I am $26,000 in credit card debt. My credit score is around 740. Never been late on a payment but I'm starting to feel the crunch. I'm undecided on what to do. I'm barely making the minimum payments as it is. Not sure I can take much more. Should I settle? Please help...

I needed to repaire my car two months ago and the bank made a refinancial loan (able to borrow $990.00 but now the loan is $24,700) now I had a stroke and my husband is still unemployed. If I do file for bankruptcy can I include this?

BCR calls me on a daily basis (sometimes twice). They have even found a round-about way to call me on my cell phone from a different phone number. These idiots are tricky! I am going to send them a Cease and Desist letter to get them to stop calling me. I do not dispute the debt, but being unemployed for three years does not give me the ability to pay off the debt.

midland funding is garnishing my wages.i have made over 50 attempts to reach them by phone and no one answers.the onw time that i did speak to someone they told me that the compuers were down to call back later.i went to court to dispute the case.i spoke to their lawyer who gave me another number but i had the same results of not reaching anyone.what can i do to cease the garnishmnet because i do not know what the debt is.

I just received a call from these people. Same story as all the others. I asked for the name, address, phone number, ID number, debt validation, etc. They agreed to everything. They are supposedly emailing and mailing me validation of the original debt. I have had these calls before but this one is the most polished. Is there anything else I should do?
