I have been getting these calls for the past couple of days and am waiting for a reply from the attorney generals office as to what to do, they divulge my information to a 3rd party(receptionist at work) and also have told her that she was rude because she said they shouldnt be giving out that info. The number they leave to return a call is the original creditor?? Would "servers" even call to tell you that they were coming out or to give you a chance to "stop the process". Im guessing they are doing something wrong here?? Thanks

My supervisor just received a telephone call on her cell phone from a debt collector for me. Is it legal for debt collectors to call and leave messages on my employer's telephone?:confused:

I have been ROB by this company as well, I did not authorize them to give me a $200.00 dollar loan. Well they went into my account & WITHDREW $445.00 Now they harrassing me saying that i have a outstanding balance of $190.00 They will not stop CALLING me because I closed that ACCOUNT. So now they are ANGRY because they can not WITHDRAW NO MORE OF MY MONEY....... I AM CONTACTING SOME OF EVERY AGENCY THE POLICE, & FBI ..... I advice you all to do the SAME. File A POLICE REPORT OF FRAUD & PRESS SOME CHARGES*

Nick Doty, saying that he was a process server, called to make arraingments to serve me papers. I have already asked you about these guys and know that they are not legit. However, I need info on where I can report these guys. They are calling my work (I work in a county office) and I am sick of it. They change their names and the case number every time they call but the call back # remains the same. It is 877-867-9201. Isn't this kind of crap illegal? Thanks for your help.

How in the world did MCM take $138 out of my account without my auth? And when I called the bank, which we called MCM together, the guy was rude and said he couldn't look up my information other than a social security number. I refuse to provide it, thus, a fraud claim was filed with my bank.

I had researched pay day loans at one point a few weeks ago because I was a bit desperate at the time and behind on some things. However I never agreed to a pay day loan, or accepted a pay day loan, at least not to my knowledge. I just received a deposit into my bank account today from someone that read only GFG_Serv. I've read here on this forum that it is most likely Greenlight Funding Group. I live in Vermont. I do not want and no longer even need this loan. Nor did I agree to receive it to begin with. What should I do? I sent an email to their "support" address.

I went to court today against Forster & Garbus today for a credit card debt. When i received the summons back in February 2010 i replied to the company and court never heard back from either. I live in Erie county. I then called April 1,2011 and the court said it would be dismissed April 22,2011. Thought all was fine until May 24.2011 and they said there would be a pre-trail June29,2011 well i went and the lawyer from Forster and Garbus could not perduce original signed contract in which i asked and the the judge turned around and gave them 30 days to perduce it.

I have 3 storefront payday loans here in Texas: Advance America $500 EZ Money $500 CashBiz $500 I took out the loans early this month and my first payment is due today. All of them have paper checks as collateral. I took a major paycut, and I cannot pay them. I would consider just ignoring it for a day and then trying to set up arrangements... but I'm concerned they'll send my paper checks through tonite - and my husband's paycheck will post this evening.
