Can anyone give advice on a reputable payday loan consolidation company. I live in Missouri, therefore i can't legally close my bank account without reprecussions. Have several payday loans and want to pay them back but am getting nowhere with all the fees.

I live in maryland and have to internet loans. one for 600 with a fee of 180 every 2 weeks. And the second for 210. with a repayment of 250. what can i do?....the fees are killing me....was given the advise noy yo do the loans but disregarded it....regret it now

Hi, I have been served with a civil summons to have a judgement filed against me for a debt that I owe. I do not have the monies to pay off this debt due to my income being reduced back in 2009 by 30 % for over 6 months. I got behind at this time and the interest and late fees kept coming. I tried to work with the company (Discover) and paid a lump sum of $300 and 3 monthly payments to try and get caught up but by the time I had done this, I had not made any progress with the fees and interest. What will happen now that they have filed a judgement against me other than just ruin my credit.

so I made the mistake of getting a $500 payday loan from united cash loans in april. I just looked at my bank statements & I have paid them over $800. from looking at the previous threads I NOW know that they are unlicensed & illegal. my question is what do I have to do to get this to stop? I think I need to close my bank account but I don't want to deal w/ the harrassing phone calls at work. I really don't mind pressing ignore on my cell phone, but I can imagine how embarrassing it would be to have people constantly calling you at work! any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Has this company actually brought any judgements against anyone. My son cancelled a fitness contract about 3 months early with the managers permission and told he was released "no problem". The company, who had many civil complaints against it already, was then bought out by another. They turned in my son as bad debt. It was 3 years ago and they are now trying to collect $600.00. I don't want to ruin his credit or have him have to go to court. But I also don't want to succumb to the "scumbags". What should we do?

I recently settled an old Chase CC. I paid the CA about $3000 less than what they said I owed. In the settlement offer letter I was told that they would report the account as paid in full. I received a letter a few days ago from another CA it looks like they are trying to collect the remaining balance. What should my next course of action be.
