I have 5 payday loans that add up to 1950. I can't pay anything else untill I pay them off. I can't pay them off because there are so many. What are my options?

I have a $7k balance with Capital one, $6k and $2500 with BofA. I'm about over 6 months past due and finally contacted Capital One. They would only settle for $6383 (which is what they say I owed, minus late fees). I read that I'd be lucky to be able to settle at 50%. How long does it take before I would get a settlement like that? I was told my account is scheduled to be charged off on the 25th of this month. I plan to call BofA this week to offer 30% settlements. Anyone have any success with these companies?

I followed the guide and sent the notice to my pdl this is the first one to respond. According to them they ignored my entire letter and say I am in error as the loan was made in the state they are licesnsed in via the internet. Is there any validity to this? I have some court/traffic fees that were sent to collections. I have a few tickets & fix-it-tickets that I paid by mail and sent in proof. I still received a FTA and now the bill is about $1600. Will I be able to settle with the CA for these types of debts? I am upset about the whole situation and feel like I got screwed here, but I cannot renew my license till its cleared and I am hoping to settle for less than $1600. My husband's pay has been garnished($800 a mth) for his student loans. Is there any way to get out of this and improve your credit? He has called them several times explaining that this is effecting our ability to pay our mortgage, but they don't seem to have any option available. Has anyone been able to get out of a garnishment and restore their credit? Please, any info would be great!

I have 3 payday loans and i could not keep paying the interest. i moved to another bank to stop the payments. hoping to work something out. are these legal in georgia if they are on a reservation? can they come after me? I have probaly paid back the original loan with interest payments and then some.
