Ive taken out a 400 dollar loan. They have taken out of my account 713 dollars. They said all od this money ia not going towards thw principal amount. Please help!

Can an attorney file suit for an upaid credit card?

I'm in GA and I was sued on a credit card account. The plaintiff against me sent in a motion for summary judgement. Now the judge has sent out a notice saying that we are requested to attend an order setting hearing. Does anybody know about those and will the other lawyer have to attend also. Wondering if I can get a dismissal if he doesn't show.

Financial Picture 37,000 in CC debt on one card from Citi (last 5000 in fees and interest alone since i stopped paying) as of today...112 days late... my income was significantly reduced and not going to improve significantly in the next 6 months i do not own a home, or car i have avoided all calls from them however, now feel that i want to do something Which department of citi should i negotiate with.... and should i do this myself or have someone else do this and if so who?? lawyer.or can u recommend a firm....what would a reasonable settlement be??

Hello! I am so embarrassed that I got myself into this situation. I am posting my list of lenders, and I was wondering if any of them are legit. Also, do any of them engage in wage garnishment? Are any notorious for calling references? Any info would help! I'm currently working with a wonderful credit counselor, who has advised me to talk to my bank about blocking ACH's from these lenders. I haven't gone in yet, but I intend to before Friday. Hopefully, I can start my debt management plan then.

Is there a chance of a settlement opportunity?

I just received a letter from U S C B Corporation attempting to collect a debt for $67.06 which they allege originated in 2005 with some payday loan place I cannot even locate online called "QuikPayday.com". These people confronted me with my valid SSN and last two phone numbers. I have not resided at the address which the letter was sent for over 3 years. Their claim is that the debt originated September 2, 2005. Yet they do not have the circumstances of this debt, the name of the store or vendor, or why they waited 6 years to "collect" this unknown mysterious debt?

Got 2 credit cards.. 1 from Wellsfargo for 11000 (already sent to a collections agency). 2 from walmart for 1400 (already sent to a collections). Trying to wipe these out before i start getting sued by these companies for the debt. Thats my first worry, second i just want to clear up my debt so i can start moving in the right direction. I used to the debt calculator to suggest to me which my best action to approach this. It had suggested to me Debt settlement.

I'm now considered 120 days delinquent on my BoA card. Got settlement offer at 32%. Tempting as I kind of need resolution but it would be a stretch to come up with the $14k. But what is really influencing is credit score. Does anyone know the impact to credit score when moving from 120 days to 150 days delinquent? If we are only talking about 20 points or less, might not be worth it. Thanks all.

Wells Fargo charged off my equity line and sent to their in house collections last Nov. They then in turn started calling again in March about a 2MP program to set up a 30 year repayment program similar to my first mortgage modification. Now it has been turned over to a second collection agency who said they are able to settle the debt on Well's behalf. Has anyone ever heard of this process? Two Lawyer's found it to be questionable. Any help would be great!!
