Last July, my wife received notice that Discover had turned her account over to Zwicker. We were notified that a court date had been scheduled. My wife called Zwicker and schedule a payment plan that was totally unrealistic and started making payments. Zwicker showed up for court and won a judgement. One year later, we are at a point that we can no longer afford the agreed upon arrangement. Since they have a judgement, I'm sure we are screwed. My wife has a good job, but I've been unemployed for months. I would be thankful for any advice.

I finally got Loan Point USA to contact me by threatening them with complaints to the FTC, FL and UT attorney generals office's and the Internet Crime Division but all they wanted was for me to pay them over a $1000 to settle the account. As I told them over the 3 loans that I have had with them I have overpaid by well over $2000 and wanted a refund in that amount with a PIF for the last loan.

The Lombardo Davis & Goldman Firm......that's the exact name on the fax. Are they a law firm? Who are they? Are they legit? The letter says, "verification of employment is being requested. Please have the employee sign the bottom of this form." Then it has my name and address on it.

I received a voicemail today and it directed towards my mom. I dont have my name on my cell phone voicemail so it doesnt let someone know if its mine or her or whoever's number. But they left a bunch of information on her, saying she's involved in some check fraud case, and theyre going to serve papers, etc.. Now I used to work for a bank doing collections, from what I understand.. isnt that illegal to give out that information? Let alone on a voicemail so anyone can hear? And they also tried to say me and my sister n law were parties involved.

I received a civil summons for an outstanding medical bill that is over $16,000. I have been unable to pay that bill along with other current medical bills. I have, recently, made arrangements with the hospital's attorney to pay a certain amount each month. I am uncertain of what needs to be in the answer to the complaint.
