I recently got a summons from love beal and nixon. I also have been receiving letters but ive been ignoring them. Upon getting the summons i called and asked who the original creditor was and the operator said it was cap one which was bought by midland funding. I also ased the original amount and they said it was 1000. The last letter i got from them said i owed 2000. The summons says im being sued for 1800. The operator says if i can pay 1300 i would be saving 700 but i hve to pay by the 25th of this month. Anyone have any advice? I dont have the 1300

I have 4 payday loans out right now with loanpoint usa advantage cash services payment direct and paydaymax. The amounts are 400 100 200 and 300. i have payed in rollover fees over the principal amount on each one. I am from kentucky. My question is in the contract you sign it says you agree to the laws in which the company is from if i was to cancel my bank account what can happen to me.

In 2006 I became unable to pay my bills. I wrote letters to all my credit card holders asking if they would lower my interest and or payments. Everyone of them said NO, I was responsible for the full amount every month. I fell into the "Debt Relief" trap. The debt relief company did nothing, except collect their fee and settle a few of my smaller debts, and charged me a lot of money. By the time I was sued the first time I realized I was in a lot worse fix as the credit card companies had added late fees, over the limit feels until my debts had about doubled.

Disputing unlicensed lender and I was wondering whether I should also copy AGs outside of my state, where I noticed they have won recent settlements, such as MN and WV. Does this help at all?

I owed Time Warner 80 dollars, which i paid, however it was late and had already sent to collections. TW assured me they would cancel the collection. They did not so CMI posted to my credit that I owe 33 dollars. i called them, paid them, thought this was though. Then a month later they post to my credit again saying I owe 9.00. ( dollars seriously!!!! Why not just tell me that when I paid the 33. My husband was very angry I paid them 33. He said to dispute it because we paid time warner and di not owe cmi anything. I am trying to keep my credit perfect because we are buying a house.

I am unable to get ahold of CLA. The laywer's email is getting rejected and I'm on hold forever. I never got a username or password to get into my customer toolbox to view my statement support to be able to see where my money is being distributed. Questioning whether this company is for real! Creditors are sending lawyers my way, but I can't get ahold of CLA to even ask how to handle it. They told me in the beginning to to ignore all phone calls. Help :confused:

My husband got laid off this week and I owe 700 to Advance Me Today..they are not cooperating with me and I am however filing bankruptcy..should I just include them since NOW I am the sole provider, I am unable to pay this loan off! Please advise me.

Hello, I've read your stickies about dealing with illegal PDL and I had a few questions. I currently have one loan out there from LendDirect.com for 200. I've already paid 140 in charges and this friday pull principle will be due with another 70. My questions are if I send them a version of the letter included in the sticky, might I get some of my money back, or only be able to pay the 60 I have left? Also, is there any chance of getting money back I paid in fees/charges on older PDL i took out in the beginning of the year? Thanks for the help!
