So many people have been exposed to the harassing techniques of this company that a new site is looking to start a class action lawsuit on them. I recieved a phone call from someone who said they where a private investigator and that someone filed a complaint on me they gave me a phone number and a case number and told me they didn't no what the complaint was or what it was about just told me to call the number to find out.when I asked questions about it he said he didn't no anything he was just given my phone number as a contact number.

Hello. I live in California now, but previously lived in North Dakota for a short time. I obtained a personal loan and a credit card while in ND.

If a bank account is levied because of a credit judgement, and you have $100.00 in there and they take the money, if you close out that account and stop direct deposit will they garnish your new account as well? Do they just follow every account until the judgment is satified? How many times can a bank account be hit? If you live in a state that prevents wage garnishments should one just cash their checks at the store instead? If there a limit on how many times a collection agency can hit my bank account or can they only do it once?

My spouse has never worked, and has always stayed home and taken care of our two children as she took college courses to later prepare to enter the workforce. However, recently, right as she began to apply jobs, she had an emotional breakdown and is not functioning at all. She has federal student loans due and I can't pay them for her. I assumed she would be able to work and I did not forsee her condition coming on so strongly, although I should have because looking back I don't think she was ever able to work in the public. Does she qualify for a discharge of her student loan debt?

My question is I have a few accounts that show that they have been sold to a collection agency. I see the agencies on my report and if I was to pay them off, would a paid in full be better than a delete or no? Also, the SOL date starts when? The first delinquency or when its charged off?
