My wife was informed that she had gotten money from this "cmg group". but never filled out anything from them now they say she owes 350.00 what should we do.

I have a student loan that I have been paying 285.00 for a year through Allied.I set up for another year,then a month later they call me back again telling me to reapply for the hardship loan.. I have been unemployed for about 3 years now,the CSB school of broadcasting went out of business right after I graduated here in Dallas.So I reapply for the hardship loan, now they tell my payments are higher.. Now I have to pay 350.00 or they will confiscate my assets,what little there is,to collect the debt. Does anyone know if this is legal..

I got a phone call from 877-457-5354 a 'mediation firm' yesterday. They stated that I am being by SDS Processing from a payday loan in 2009. I had closed the bank acct then to stop them withdrawing $. They talked to my supervisor at work, and finally spoke to me, told me that "You've been served." When I called a courtney x321 back, she stated that they've sent me e-mails, and that I was being non-compliant, and that I will be getting sued. Has this happened to anyone?

I would like to/need to consoidate my payday loans. I had some last fall and i stopped the ACH payments and sent a cease and desist letter to the companies and also quoted the statute in my state which indicated that the loans were illegal. I have heard from two of those. Sadly I did it again ... I have stopped the ACH payments to the PDL today. I need to know which PDL debt consolidation company will do what they say the will do and not rip me off. Do you know of one that will do this and also check to make sure the loan was not illegal in the first place. Thank you.

I originally got a payday loan to cover a period where I wasnt getting paid as much and now Im still not getting the money but now I owe these payday loans and I cant get my account out of the negative. I was contacted by Town and Country and they said they could help me with all of my debt includint student loans and credit cards and wanted some advice if I should sign up with them?

Following some of the advise from these forums, I recently just sent an ACH letter to a lender by the name of Beacon. Even though they didn't debit my account for two consecutive pay periods after receiving the letter, I closed my bank account anyway. But, in the letter I demanded to receive in writing… #1) conformation that my account with them is marked 'paid in full' and #2) a refund of over $600.00 due to 'finance' charges that were being debited from my account every pay period.
