I realize their are legitimate reasons for seeking quick resolution to financial issues, but it is not always in your best interest. As an active duty member of the military you are afforded certain protections while deployed overseas. I would encourage you to research the Service Members Civil Relief Act to learn more about these protections.

I live in Pennsylvania. I had an account I was sued for. Due to some strange circumstances which I wont discuss here, I wasn't able to defend in court. This had a default judgement passed against me for the full amount owed. In Pennsylvania a collector cannot garnish my wages. I don't own any property. The most they can do is levy my bank account. I have a new account which I have never used to pay the original company so they don't have any record of where I do my banking on file.

I am in a panic. I filled out online loan app on 3/24. On 3/25 I had a deposit from a company called Payday-Loan-Yes. I didn't sign any loan documents with them. They told me I had to pay it back and then they debited my account $105 three times. I have paid back $315. I sent them a loan cancellation letter, an ACH revocation, wage assignment revocation, debt verification request, FOI request, Do Not Call letter etc. I sent them everything that I saw on this website that is suggested that you send. They are totally ignoring me and they have become abusive and harassing me daily.

I would like to get rid of the negative things on my credit report, I cannot pay them all off at once. What is the best way to get rid of them in the quickest way possible?

I just received a letter stating that my bank account would be garnished for a judgement (unpaid credit card debt) that I was not aware of. The original judgement was dated Aug of 2008 in Washington State, where I used to reside and still own a home. I now live in Oregon and have for 7 years. My PO box where I received the letter of garnishment is the same one I had in Aug of 2008. Why was I not served? Do I have a leg to stand on here to vacate the judgement? Secondly, my bank account had $50 in it.
