I know you already answered that financial aid is not credit based, but what about loans from colleges that are used to finance college tuition? If I consolidate my credit cards, will I still be able to borrow for tuition?

I have an outstanding payday loan. It was always my intent to pay it back, but ran ought of funds after a few extensions and one paydown. In order to portect my assets(i live paycheck to paycheck), i close my bank account. I contacted the payday loan company, but they continued to submit an ach debit, which of course generated multiple overdrafts. they did exactly what they said the would do. I have been harrassed daily for months.

For the last three weeks I keep getting calls from a collection agency going by Rosenthal, Stein, and Associates. They are very suspicious, telling me I owe $1000 or I will be sued the next morning.

When they call and threaten with a court order they said they had tried to serve me and then they turned around and said they would settle. What is the meaning of this and I had settled with this debt a long time ago.
