Recently I have been recieving phone calls that show up on my phone as 000. The person who calls is foreign and I can hardly understand them. They identify themselves as some type of law enforcement and state they have a warrant for my arrest. I cannot get them to tell me who the initial creditor is but they threaten me with arrest and bodily harm. They also know my SS number and today one even threatened my mother (by name). They have called my employer and accused me of being a criminal and suggesting that I be fired. What can I do and how do they have all of this information on me?

Is it a good idea to go through a debt consolidation program. I am in 25,000 debt and am going crazy trying to pay them all. My credit score has gone to hell. HELP

I have now for the past 7 months off and on been getting calls from a company saying that I owe money to a payday lender I've never even heard of?? The man who calls refers to himself as "Officer" Alex Smith (BTW...deep Indian accent) and he needs to speak to me or my retaining attorney of record asap. One day I called him back, and basically told him not ot call me any F#*@---- more or I'll call the police and authorities on his bogus outfit. Calls stopped for 2 months then started back, I just never return the call or pick up.

I'd like your opinion on getting a bank to clear up my credit report. The bank had my second mortgage(line of credit) on my house and released the lien on my house one year ago so I could do a short sale. They demanded 20% of loan to release the lien. They got it and released it. They stopped calling me at that time asking for payments. They refused at that time to release the entire amount of the loan. My credit report shows $60,000(remaining 80%) as an outstanding balance. I asked for a settlement package and the bank wants all my financial info.

They were paid it and they released it. But they wouldn't release the remaining 80%- $60,000. They have stopped calling me(for the past year) asking for payments. But I want to get this $60,000 off of my credit report as an outstanding balance. I asked for a "settlement package" from them and they want all types of financial info from me.

My bank account was blocked because of a credit card, after the amount is paid off will the bank account go back to being active, please advise i'm trying to contact the number on file but it's not in service please advise thank you

I had a Amex Credit card 10 year + and the debt was written off. I am now receiving calls and written letters from NCO Financial regarding a settlement and at times demanding payment. Can someone advise me how to answer them? Thank you

Hi Nelly, I have RJM Acquisitions LLC chasing me for a very small debt (less than $100) charged to a VISA credit card (Citibank) BACK IN 1989!!!! RJM purchased this debt on January 25th 2005 Are they in their good right? How can I sort this out being currently abroad? Could you advise a Lawyer/Solicitor or other who could handle this for me and resolve this case against a small fee? Many thanks for your reply and insight. Best regards, Slvain
