Is there a SOL on private school loans? I need an answer and some information asap. thanks!

Debt for a credit card from when I lived in Oregon, moved to Idaho. Few months back got a subpoena served to me about an account I had an idea about from back in 2003. Washington Mutual credit card. I have been attempting to contact the law firm that is handleing the case and after a few weeks of calls and emails I heard nothing and being a man and human, I forgot about it because I never heard anything again. Mind you up to this day I have yet to recive one letter, call, anything about this account. This afternoon (4.25.2011), my wife calls me and said the bank account has been wiped out.

I sent a debt validation letter to a CA (Advantage Assets II, Inc.) in January. No response, and now they have assigned it to a different collection attorney than the one who sent it to me in January. He has now sent me 9 letters in the last 5 days, but he has been putting different dates on them, as far back as April 12th (I got it the same day I got the one from the 14th). I have gotten 2-3 a day for the last 5 mail delivery days. How do I handle it, besides laughing and saving all of them.

I had 3 PDLs from online lenders while living in Ohio, now I'm in GA. To break the cycle, I closed my checking account and switched banks, mainly when I moved. Two of the PDLs have gone to collections. I've only ever received phone calls from those two collectors, have never received anything in writing. They, of course, were threatening (I committed bank fraud, yada yada yada) when they called; one I sent a debt validation letter to, have heard nothing from them since. The other I only received one call and was told to "consider myself served".

I have an 800 dollar payday loan from Cash America. I have paid nearly all of that back in interest. I pay 150 biweekly in interest and finance alone.I live in Texas, so I don't know what I can do. Help!!! This is killing us financially.

IAG had some lady call me (left a voice mail) saying that she would be seeing me later that day to serve a summons.....of course, she never showed up. However, what is bugging me is that the number she called from is from my local area code (864); however, IAG is based out of New York. I called IAG today because I have never talked to them - they have never mailed me anything, so I don't even know who/what this is in relation to.

I have a debt of $8749 from the evil Chase company. They were Wychoiva and I was paying 9.9% and they got traded to Chase and they raised my interest to 29.9%. I called them and got them down to 2%, then I lost my job of 9 years and been unemployed for 10 months. Chase sent my case / acct over to a lawyer / debt collector. I can pay 33% of that bill all in one lump sum and wondering if someone can help me do that. I can ONLY pay that amount because I cashed in my 401k.
