Ok I just spoke with dsc or dcs with great lakes about my student loans that I have with them and I missed tow payments because my mother closed the checking acct that we had unfortunately I didnt know about it so I called them they said it was nothig that I could do because I was on the rehab program and if I dont make a payment by tomorrow then they will start garnishing my wages. Is this true can they actually do that? I want to make a payment but I dont get paid untill the 25 of april and they said that's to bad there is nothing that they can do so what should I do and what can I do

I would like to know myself who is Pinnacle? & my question is my school apparently sent my debt ($189 @i lost my job),to creditor but now that ive been asking & asking to no avail i finally got a call with a # to contact but they just told me they do not have ANY info of mine.So i called school & he said that's good just pay us & we'll give u a letter when paid off.

this company keeps calling me saying i owe them 1036 dollars for two payday loans that i took out. One was for CMG financial and the other was for Gateway holdings. I know that i took out one for CMG, but have never even heard of Gateway. Both companies placed 300 dollars in my account. I have been telling this lady that they are illegal in Texas which is where i live and she keeps telling me that they are legal and that i agreed to these high interest loans.

Hello, I am battling ZIP19 at the moment over a Wage Assignment they are holding against me. I haven't received anything from ZIP19 about it ( but I guess it was in the contract ) I didn't know they had done this until my employer sent me a page about it. It says I owe $549 and some change. I haven't paid them anything back and I HAVE sent the "Revocation of Wage Assignment" letter to them along with a copy to my HR dept and the Payroll dept.

Do I have the right to ask for information in writing from anyone who calls claiming to have a legal suit or collection against me? I had a call from a "lawyer" who stated he was calling about a payday loan and when I started asking from information in writing said I would not be getting anything, this is not a scam, etc. I simply asked for a phone number to call back when I could from a more private phone since I was at work.

Hello I need some help- I have a loan that is based out of Missouri thru emergent funding llc. I live in NC I have loaned with them several times but am now learning I don't know enough to plead my case with them.they are stating they are an installment and in Missouri so it doesn't matter where I reside and my law-can you please help me what is NC law and the difference between each. I'm not not trying to pay what I borrowed but I have paid this already the fees are astronomical. Any help would be great! Thank you!!!

Dear Forum, I rec'd a call yesterday about a possible debt that the caller id showed 713-242-1600. The message was from a person stating that i was a 'primary person of interest' in a matter and that to speak to a processor to press 9. the message stated that if i wanted to 'voluntarily' take care of this matter that i should call 866-531-6617 with the provided case#.

I have received via US Mail several law firm offers to rep. me on behalf of the lawsuit filed against me by Midland. I have not received any info in regards. I do not know who Midland is, nor have I entered into any debt with Midland. What do I need to prepare for?

I am in the process of cleaning up my credit and my score is just lingering around 600. My mortgage lender suggested I contact Medicredit and work out an arrangement to pay off a 7 year old debt in that is in the amount of $2500. When my credit report was pulled, Medicredit was the only debtor that didn't have any contact information. That is how I stumbled across this website. My original debt was in November of 2004. They have not reported on it since April of 2007....reaching 4 years this month. After reading the SOL, can I try and get this dereg removed from my credit report?

First Source Advantage is calling me and harrassing me about a debt I do not owe, nor never incurred. How can I stop them?
