Do you know a lawyer that can help me fight a citation from Citibank in the DFW area in TX? I received a citation today saying i am being sued. Please help!

:confused:I am summoned to court in a month i just found out about this by error. I have not lived at the address for over 6 years. What should I do?

Its so funny how they will jus blow your phone up but when you try to call them they never anwser! Does anyone have a number that really gets a hold of them? I've tried 8 different numbers but all saying there too busy or they are closed.......when they called a hour ago while i was showering! I hate these ppl!!!!!!:mad:

I received a summons last night from capital one lawyer. I can not pay & am wondering if I can still file bankruptcy

ok, i've been dealing with these people off and on for the last few years. they used to call once every few weeks. no big deal. but now they are calling nonstop, yesterday they called at 6:50am and continued to call every 30 minutes the rest of the day. i know they are trying to collect on a payday loan, but they wont tell me who the original creditor is. but here's the kicker, i filed bankruptcy last year and got my discharge papers in december. and i garantee whatever payday loan they are trying to collect on was included in my bk, because i did not miss a single thing.

This company buys "old debt" which you may or may not even legally owe any longer. They tried to scam me out of an old bank debt I had. If they try to scam you, do this (it worked for me - I never heard from them again): Draft a "validation of debt letter" and send it to them by certified mail.

I spoke with someone today and they were being very rude so I asked to talk to a manager. I have been working on getting employed but have been out of work since 2008. The manager I spoke to told me that there is no reason I don't have a job in 3 years and that if he moved out here to Vegas that he could find a job. Vegas has been the hardest hit town in the nation. I don't appreciate the way I have been treated.
