I received a couple letters from attorneys looking to help me against suit filed. Suit filed? I had no knowledge. Went to county clerk site and found. He filed under Capital One vs "me" - I researched and found that is fraudulent. What my question is....I started receiving letters from collection agencies in 2007. I sent response requesting validation. They didn't respond and so it went on to the next collection agency....until now Michael Scott is the 6th or 7th to have received. Weren't my rights violated in the first place when the first one didn't validate?

I have a joined or had a joined account with someone witch is now overdrawn. They have a new account and said that there account just got froze because of the old one we had, and is now asking for money for this old account. But if there account is really froze would mine be froze to or how does that work

Hi. I have been here before, its been a long time. Things have changed here a little since I was last here. So I am going to ask my question if this isn't where its suppose to go, please redirect it to where it needs to be. thanks. I have a few 'Dell' accounts. They originated in the year of 2001. I would think by now, they would fall under the statue of limitations. But I think around 2003, I tried working out an agreement with them and started sending them a little money through a debt management program. Dell refused to accept me on the program.

We agreed to have a payment taken out of our checking, to be payment in full, about half of the old balance, got a letter saying it was to be deducted, but no mention of settlement in full. Should we be worried? I don't plan to pay any more on this bill. William

I live in illinois, my husband hasn't worked in a almost 2 years now stable as he is a union worker in the construction field, so work for them right now is NIL. I've took a brunt of the finances on, including starting in JAN since he hasn't put in the hours at work (not because he didn't want to work but because there isnt any) I had to take insurance out at work, now an addition $200 from that comes out of my bi-weekly pay. So now I got my self into a stupid situation to which I can't seem to get out of now. I have 3 loans, Speedy, Spotya, and sagamore.
