I recently had a tmobile phone but it was under my roomates account. i stopped using the phone about three months ago due to the fact that she was moving out and i was not going to be using the phone any more. She contacted me today and told me that a collection agency had called her and said she owed $500 on that account. Would the debt ultimatly be put on her and if she decides to take me to court on this, how would the outcome come out?

I have been disputing a sears card charge off that LVNV has bought. I dispute the account and LVNV decreases the ballance by a $1 and in a month they report an increase by a $1 this has been going on for 5 months and at least 6 $1 changes to my LVNV account. What are they doing as they refuse to validate the debt but keep vasilating the $1 increase and decrease.

I sent compliants to the BBB regarding these two crooks. They sent responses saying that I send a letter from mis leading and untrue information from the internet and they don;t think it justifies a response and if I had a specific complaint they would respond. So I rejected their response and stated that my attorney had said that they are illegal in my state and they should send me their license # (which he did say) and I also stated that the Customer Service Reps have laughed and hung up on me and that any customer who pays thousands of dollars deserves a direct response.

A freeze has been placed on my bank account. Do they take out the funds that were available on the date freeze is applied, or can the take funds that accumulate over the 21 days?

We are trying to settle a debt with bank of america, they said they would take nothing less than 40%, the offer is valid until end of this month. The debt is already charge off. If we wait and negotiate next month, will they take the offer back and ask for more?

Is this company, Progressive Debt Services out of Virginia still in business, I cannot contact them, nobody would return my call messages. I have a USAA credit card that I signed with this company since March 2009. My initial contract was for 80,000 but then Navy Federal Credit Union loans of 60,000 was not qualified. They do not want to cut a new contract, how do I get a new one with the corrected initial fee of 15% be adjusted for 20,000 instead of 80,000. Can I withdraw the money held with Global Services.
