I reside in the state of Texas, and I need to know who is legal and who isn’t. And what steps can I take to stop these lenders from taking my money. i filed ch 7 last week my meeting w/ creditor is march 22 2011 I have a court date for march 23 for a debt that i incl in my bk, how can i go about getting the court to withdraw the march 23 date since my 341 is the day before. OK I have juist had about enough!!! US Legal Services just won't give up. They keep calling my work and I got into an arguement with one of the three non English Speaking so called Lawyer on the phone. Two have the same name and the other says he is the supervisor. When I told them the last 4 numbers of my SS# was wrong he blew up and starting hollowing at me. I never took a loan out with Advance Payday loan and they state it was in July. I tried calling the Consumer Protection Hotline in Louisiana but she said I needed an address before they could do anything.
