Nelly, For some reason BCR calls my parents everyday asking for my brother. My brother has his own life and hasn't been home since 2007. How can I handle this because I amgetting upset, my parents don't need thisright now...please advise...Thank you.

I need help. I closed my account with Target as they constantly add late charges, and I have never been late with my payments. I have called, written and they still would not take charges off. I closed account and have been paying on time, however, they will not post the payment until after due date and then add late charges each month. I have proof I paid on time as I pay by banking on line. The are adding the charge every month and they even admitted to me on the phone they post late - will take charges off- but then will keep adding to bill. I do not know what else to do.

Hi. I contacted Pinnacle regarding what I owed them They said that 6 months ago they sent/sold it back to the original place I owe the money to. So, I contacted that place, and have since paid them off. They reported it as paid. But, Pinnacle is still reporting on my credit report that I owe them money. And, they're reporting that I owe twice as much as I actually owed. I've contacted them, again, and they said that since they no longer hold the debt that there's nothing they can do for me...but then why are they still reporting it? Last time the reported it was 1/2011.

My daughter attended college in Wisconsin in 2005 and had a bank account with US Bank. In May 2005, she met with a representative to close the account and then returned home to Michigan. In November 2007, she received a letter from an a law firm stating they were acting on behalf of US Bank to collect a debt for a charge of $15 plus overdraft fees and interest for a total of $230. My daughter responded within the 30 days to the them asking for proof of the claim. The charge was incurred at a restaurant in Wisconsin in August 2005, 3 months after she had left the state.

Hi experts, I am currently seeking employment and cannot afford the minimum payments on a Barclay's Bank credit card balance of $10,185. I reached a settlement agreement with Barclay's bank for 45% of the original balance, which ends up being $4,580. The account is 92 days past due. Family will help me secure a loan. Should I wait longer to get a better settlement deal and is this even possible at this point given that I've already agreed to the 45% settlement (provided I don't pay anything to bring the account current)?

A collection agency recently filed an unpaid amount to my credit report agencies. I found out about this because my current credit card company decreased my credit line. This collection agency purchased my debt from AT&T mobile. I called AT&T regarding this and they told me that there's nothing they could do because it's already been sold to a colleciton agency. I don't understand how they can just sell the debt without attempting to contact me first to collect the balance ($170). They had my cell phone (it is still the same after 10 years) but never made one call to me.

I have filed Chapter bankruptcy in July 2010. I have been making payments as per the court monitored payment plan. Now what I want to know is that, is there any way by which I can know whether my creditors are actually getting paid? Thanks in advance.
