Here is some interesting info, it appears as though IAG International Asset group does not own the debt since NCA just gave them to work. I called someone at NCA and asked them if they own the debt and their comment was yes. so do you send a validation to NCA??

Ok, so this is not a new problem. I have several private student loans that have variable interest rates you would see for only credit cards (15% and above at times). I have no option but to default and deal with the consequences. I've tried working with the lender (Sallie Mae) and they refuse to give me an interest rate that I can afford to pay. The loan payments are larger than my monthly salary. The 15-25% (not sure exact amount) garnishment they can take if they get a judgement is still far less than my minimum monthly payment Sallie Mae has billed me.

I am paying a law office that represents a credit card company $100.00 a month. Does that negate a SOL policy? They have a stay of execution court document so if I stop payment they will sue me for all. I am leaving the country for good in one month. If they bring a suit against me can they come after me (financially or physically).

I made the mistake of getting a payday loan because my divorce I was going through. I started off with one and now I'm up to 7. I live in Texas and I need to get rid of these as soon as possible. I'm a single mom now and I need my paychecks. I'm pretty much left with nothing.

Very sad, I am afraid that I might lose my cat. I have had her for 17 years. She has traveled with me all over the U.S. She isn't well. A couple of weeks ago I awoke in the middle of the night and she had stopped breathing (she sleeps with me), I blew into her mouth and she came back. I took her to the Vet the following Mon. and he gave her an antibiotic shot, it's been well over a week now and she hasn't improved. She isn't eating and barely drinking. I have been giving her everything under the sun to entice her, she takes a couple of licks and that's all.
