I just want everyone to know that I spoke with an attorney today regarding the pay day loans in Florida. He said everything we are doing is fine! I needed some reassurance. :)

Today I received a call from Federal Check Recovery, obviously they are a pay-day loan collection company, 4 calls within 3 hrs, 2 at work, 2 at home, and the last one stated that I have been served, and they would see me at my place of employment tomorrow. I know this is a scare tactic, or should I say I hope so. I stupidly took out several pay-day loans, paid of a few, but after all the fees, i give myself a dope slap daily, but I needed the money. My question is .....

We entered into a 100 year contract with Allegro Vacation Club last January,2010. We haven't been able to make any payments since August 2010 because our financial situation changed. We live in Canada. What do you suggest because we don't want this to completely ruin our credit rating. Is there any way of getting out of this contract? T.R.

Like many on this site, I'm finding it impossible to do anything other than pay interest on these payday loans. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Live in SC, both were initiated via internet 1. Loan Shop Hampton- Borrowed $500; have paid back $1050; balance has not reduced. 2. Integrity Advance- Borrowed $400- have paid back $940; principal balance now $300. Thanks.

i have been paying the palmerfirm for 3 years now and when i signed up they stated it would take 28 months to get out of debt and now the interest on the cards are going up i dont understand i think i made a bad choice with them and now im down to only two cards left and i feel they are milking me and now im trying to find them and there is no web site for me to login in

Has anyone had any luck settling / negoiating unsecrued Credit Card Debt such as Credit Card and Lines of Credit with Penfed? If yes, what percentage were you able to settle for? Thanks in advance for your time and input!
