My question: I am being drowned by pdl fees, I've totally lost control of my checking account and don't know what to do. I have no intention of dodging paying the loans but at the current rate, the fees are costing me so much my account is upside down. I'm looking for options. Most of the 'loan companies' have csrs that I can barely understand, and they don't seem to understand me either so I've been getting nowhere. In addition my inbox and text message box are overrun by msgs from pdl lenders. I'm looking to perhaps consolidate the loans, possible cut down on all the fees.

Can i consolidate my debt if i have bad credit? Does anyone know of a company that will do the consolidation?

MRS has been harassing my mom and I for 2 months. they won't take any agreements with payments and I really don't know what to do. I want to work with someone to get a payment started but they keep on telling me that they are going to sue me and I am going to go to jail. How do i work directly with the company instead of collections and have them stop harassing me? Please help!

I have three payday loans that I have not paid and blocked ACH on my account. i sent them a letter outlining what the PDL laws are in my state (MN) and directed them to contact me by mail only, provide me with their lisence number for my state and told them that I would pay the principle in payments if they provide me with this information. I just got a call from a "eric thomas" sounded fake because his accent was REALLY bad and I could not understand him. He said taht he was representing 'Unicque Collections law Office" and their was a law suite filed against me.

Having trouble locating them. Phone numbers don't work and no response to e-mails. Does anyone know how to locate them? Please I would appreciate any info!

I've been working for a long time to get my past debts paid off and am finally down to the last $500. I was going through my credit report to find that CACV still has a long paid debt listed as being in collections. I went through my records and found that they hired another company, Pentagroup Financial of Houston, TX to collect for them. On Monday, Jan 10, I should have some answers. I'm sure I paid the thing off and since I haven't heard anything from any other agency on that account in over 5 years (and I'm at the same address) I'm guessing they know it, too.

I disagree with the forum's decision to make Gretchen VonDerhoff a debt Samaritan after the horrible things she said to me via PM. She is vindictive and here for the wrong reasons. Just my opinion and I wanted to express it.

If you are able to prove insolvency on your taxes are (since 1099C) is not included in the numbers - will you still receive any refund that is due to you?
