I've notified everyone underneath the sun that I can possibly think of and my head hurts just thinking about it. I did contact an FDCPA lawyer and it's in the process of being looked at as well, I've already filed a complaint to our FID here in my state and it's under investigation. I'm just now concerned how ugly this is going to get without them harassing me even more. What else can they possibly do.

I owe $505.50 to My cash center. They have proposed 2 settlement offers for me. One is for 6 equal payments of $193 and the other is for 7 equal payments of $182. They say i have to pay the interest and fees too. Is this a reasonable settlement or not? I have not told them that i would agree to either offer yet. Any advice is greatly appreciated? i live in texas.

I just received a phone call from collections at BaySide Loans. The address that I was given is: BaySide Loans Shanghai Partners PO Box 427 79796 North Tatnall St Wilmington, DE 19801-2230 I cannot find anything in the BBB about them. Anyone else dealt with this payday loan company?

I had house I had to walk away from in September 2008. This house was extremely upside down. I had first mortgage at 308,000 and a second at 50,000. In December 2008, I did receive a form that said the house was worth only 192,000. It was not a 1099C. I never received anymore coorespondence. I did not include this on any tax return. I am concerned that at some point the IRS may audit me. What should I do? Just this year I received a letter from a company saying i owed taxes to the mortgage company for back taxes. The house has been purchased by someone else.

I live in iowa and i have some internet payday loans . Are they legal or not. One site i went to said payday loans are legal but another says there not. If they are not legal do i need to pay them at all. They cant do anything to you if they are not legal right?

I had a US Bank account when I was 19-21, I am now 27. A few months ago this comany began calling and told me I was going to be brought to court immediately if I did not pay on my old account. They refused to send me anything by mail and would only send 1 email listing payment dates. The guy acctually was screaming at me on the phone and when I said I needed to speak with US Bank he told they would have no record of the company because the debt had been sold. I reluctantly set up payments. After 2 payments I reqested a letter with an pdated balance and proof of receipt of my payments..
