The Sheriff just delivered a "Summons" to appear in court for a debt with Sears Master Card which at the time "CITI" part of Citicorp of which now Midland Funding LLC is suing for this debt. At this time I am also losing my home and attempting to modify our mortgage loan. The summons says I have to file my response with the court or lose by default. It also says there may be a legal form available. The amount was at $10,000.00 when I was no longer to pay and now the summons has a total over $16,000.00. Can anybody give some guidance.

I have followed all the advise from the experts on this site and was just informed by Eastside Lenders that they will be issuing me a refund for the full $950 that they illegally took from me! Please all newbies to this site....carefully read and follow the advise here to know you rights and how to be persistent in getting your money back. Thank you Experts!!:p

i need some help/advice i had a loan with spot on loans i have paid back the principle amount plus interest i thought i was done with them and they are now saying i owe them another 390.00 which i have paid already on a 300.00 loan thru them they do not seem to listen to me and say they will take legal action ETC i live in new hampshire they are not legal what are my next steps

I am in serious debt and feel serious trouble. I've spent the past few years ignoring phone calles, letters and my concious and know its time to do something if for no other reason, my own mental health. I have no assets, live with family and have only recently found a full time job that has the potential to get me back to where I once was financially. My debt ranges from small credit card debt, pdl's, medical bills and taxes. I have ignored this for so long that it seems so completely overwhelming and I am lost as to the first step.

When I joined this Forum, I had 8 internet payday loans and 2 storefront loans. Through the great advice on this forum, I now have 1 internet loan that will be paid off Jan. 15. My problem is this....first, I live in Ohio. I have 2 storefront loans. Every 2 weeks, I paid them off in full and reborrow. I pay approximately $150 every 2 weeks to do this in just interest. I need help in getting out of the storefront loans and don't know how to go about doing it. The loans are through Cashland and First American Loans.
