I am receiving harrassing phone calls from us credit agency. they say they represent national credit adjusters who represent cmg group llc. They claim i took a payday loan in 2007 and never paid it back. They wouldnt say how much the loan was for but said the total due was $600 but they would settle for $240. I dont even know of taking this loan out but they have all my information. They are calling my place of work and my friends and told me they are going to issue a request to my employer to deduct the money from my pay. Can they do this?

i recieved call from crs legal services who say they are going to process and charge me for fraud for not paying two payday loans because i closed out my account because it had over 1000. in nsf charges from internet payday loans trying to hit it. i live in texas and if i am not mistaken the loan companies are in texas. can i be arrested?

i have received a letter from allied interstate. on the behalf of credit one. they are demanding payment in full. i am unemployed and credit one has know this for a long time. they agreed to stop all late cahrges and monthly fees so i could pay off card, but did not. i dont have the money they are asking for. i dont have a checking account should i offer 20.00 a month?

I know this has been mentioned before, and Jason responded to it, but I am going to try and plead my case as to why being able to quote someone's post, with their name included in the quote is so important to me. When responding to a thread that has a lot of posts in it, it is very time consuming and confusing when we can't just click on the quote button and it will copy and paste their name, the date it was originally posted, and the post they made.

Help! I just found out that internet payday loans are illegal in my state of connecticut. I made the mistake of taking 6 of these loans out and can't pay them back for a few months. My financial situation just got worse. I know i was stupid for taking these out. I received a very distressing phone call last night from a 911 number stating he was calling from a criminal investigation bureau. I knew it was a threat and quickly told him i knew he was a scammed. He ended the call saying i would get fired from my job! Can my employeer fire me for this?
