This lady called me approximately 6 weeks ago saying I owed 1300.00. Due to an old credit card. I used to have credit cards but not anymore now they are threating to file charges with the district atttorney and have me serves with papers to garnish wages. Lady also told me she woukld send me aout paperwork explianing debt. I have never recieved any paperwork in the mail and I just got off the phone with a different woman claiing I need to contact them within 24 hours or the DA will be called. What di i do?

i recieved a phone call yesterday stating that i had taken out a payday thru 500 cash now. these were indian speaking with a very deep accent. this man was very rude and told me that i would do 21 days in jail if the loan was not paid. These people could not give me the date that the loan was supposedly been applied for or recieved. they over talk you and barely answer your questions. is there any possible jail time in the state of mississippi for not paying a loan that you never applied for or recieved..

My fiance has been paying $100 a month to Allied through wage garnishment for one year. I guess the contract was set up for one year and he forgot about it and now 2 months afterwards he realized the payments were not coming out and Allied called him demanding the remaining balance of $5000 in full or they will sue him. He stated to them that he was willing to make payments but they declined and kept demanding the amount in full. When my fiance asked for their address, they asked him why and kept giving him the run around but finally did give him the address.

My Name is Eve and I just got a call about the account I had with Regent from another Debt collections company saying I still owed $270 to them and since I hadn't made a payment it was being considered refusal to pay. I told them that I had agreed to pay Regent $90 a month for 8 months and after the final payment in November it was payed in full. And going over my prepaid credit card statements it shows that in the final 3 months the payments were going to the Kansas payment center and the rest had gone to a payment center in Denver CO, but the statements still say Regent Asset Management.
