I have 5 payday loans out and I live in Indiana--can anyone tell me if these places are legal in this state. 1. Cash transfer centers 2. United Fast Cash 3. United Cash Loans 4. Paradise Payday Loans 5. Loan point I have been paying on some of these for over 6 months---I know I have paid them back in finance charges twice :sad:........ except cash transfer center who don't allow roll over. What do student loan lenders get out of loaning you money?

at my wit's end!I'm hoping someone can give me some suggestions. I've had a loss of income over the last several months. I'm barely able to cover my basic expenses. I've fallen behind with approx $8k in unsecured debt. I don't want these accounts to charge off. I don't want to file bankruptcy if I don't have to as I will be in a position in the next 9 months to pay everything off. I've looked into credit counseling however I wouldn't have enough to cover the monthly payment. What can I do?

i have a payday loan that i havent paid for about 6 months. i received a phone call at work by a law firm handling this loan and was told that if i didn't have the full payment by tomorrow, a sheriff would come and arrest me and take me to court and i might spend 4 to 5 months in jail. the pay day loan place said they wouldn't take any money from me and that my loan was listed a money stolen

I don't know how to handle this situation... Allied interstate harasses me daily, they call my cell phone 2-3 times a day. They call my work phone and harass me at least once a day. I discussed payments with them and they refused to take the offer I made. I am recently divorced, and my transmission just went out in my car, soI am currently in a bad financial situation. I can't pay what they want, and they are threatening to send it in to have my wages garnished. I don't even know if they are legit. Can someone please give me some kind of direction on where to go with this? JC

This post is concerning TLC Fast Cash. I applied for a really small payday loan, being well within the prescribed qualifications (job, checking account, direct deposit, etc.) They called to start the process. I filled out the app with sensitive info and they called again to confirm SS#, etc., saying that the loan (for $200) is ok'd. I logged onto the site as instructed and found my app was denied, which gave me the strong impression that they are collecting sensitive information for illegitimate purposes. Have you seen similar comments from others?

Okay here goes. I had problems with an overdrawn account with Suntrust and they have reported me to Chexsystem and EWS. I opened an account with Regions bank in October and have used the account with no problems. I tried to sign in this morning to online banking and it will not let me in. I assume they have closed my account. It stinks because I have direct deposit going into the account for both my jobs tomorrow. What do I do as far as getting my pay? Also is their another bank I can go to or am I goint to have to live without a bank account for another two years.
