I have 3 pay day loans and I would like help in paying them off...how would I go about doing that

I've been trying to read all I can but there are so many posts. I have had my wages and tax refunds garnished for about two years now and although it was hard, I did it (about $24,000 worth). However I still owe about $40,000 and have to save up for a new vehicle and really can't afford the amount they are garnishing out of my paychecks anymore and still be able to live and save up for a new vehicle. I called Texas Guaranteed Student Loan and they just told me that they can't do anything about decreasing the monthly amount. Is there really nothing that can be done?

I was about to go with a debt settlement company that claimed to have an A rating with the BBB. But I just read that the Connecticut AG is investigating the BBB for selling high ratings to companies and ABC News said that some people secret shopped the California chapter and the BBB gave an A rating to Hamas - a terrorist group! That really concerns me because the company I was going to use says it's based in California.

I live in PA and have numerous PDL's/Installment Loans. I contacted Destination Debt Solutions to help resolve these debts in August. They are charging me around 638 dollars a month for 12 months to settle these loans. I am starting to doubt their services as I am still receiving phone calls at my place of employment.

I have 2 debts that I would like to do a DIY settlement with. One is Beneficial for 10,356.82 and the other is HSBC Direct Merchants for approx 1,364.00. I crafted the letters from the samples you provide in the site and have already heard back from HSBC that they would like to speak with me concerning my correspondence. I am about 40 days past due right now. I am going with 400.00 as a settlement offer for HSBC and 2,100 as a settlement offer to Beneficial. I just received the letter from DM so I am going to speak with them, but how do I handle the phone call, as what kind of tone do I take?

:(I have contacted you when I can about this problem concerning these calls. The person you are trying to contact does not have this phone number anymore. I got this phone number from Time Warner Cable abourt 3 or 4 months ago and have rec'd numerous calls from you. I finally talked to a person and told them and they assured me my phone number would be removed. It never happens. We are senior citizens and this is very annoying we get at least 3 calls at least 3 or 4 days a week. This person must owe everyone because you are not the only ones who call.
