Hopefully this is the right area to post this but I have a question. I had been a Comcast customer for years and years...never a late payment never stuck them for a dime and I cancelled about a year ago.

i need a short term until the end of November (have a legal settlement being issued at that time) any companies better than others that you can recommend? And do companies like cash loan city or snap pay day steal your bank account info ( a fear of mine) Thank you in advance

Hi I had sent a DV to Northland Group and I had used a sample letter from this website. I have now received a response from Resurgent Capital Service which states the account number and balance from LVNV Funding LLC. That is there is no mention of payment history or any legimate papers other then a statement stating as the date of this communication, I owe $x,xxx.xx on account xxxx with is now owned by LVNV Funding LLC, and statement asking to pay. I am right now in a 30 day time frame, and I got 2 weeks more to dispte through certified mail.

Has anyone settled their account with Nordstrom? They are being so difficult. I offered a 35% settlement but they counter offered it for 60% which I cannot afford.

I live in Texas, Being sued by an attorney in Texas in the facts of the case it states that on or about April 13, 2010, Plaintiff sent a demand letter and despite delivery of demand letter on further payments have been made. I never received a demand letter at any time the only letter I received was the citation registered mail from the court saying I must answer so I did. That was Oct. 09, 2010, I also sent a request for validation on Oct. 12, 2010 no response to date. The Bench Trial is Set for Feb. 11, 2011. Can you I be sued with no validation or demand letter?

I recieved a summons for a Chase Credit Card debt. Its legit debt - just didnt have the available funds at the time. How do I respond? I have 30 days and want a certified response this week to the Law firm and court but how do I answer? Also, should I contact the Law firm/Credit card company to settle before I go to court (no date set at this point) -- definitely willing to settle before it goes any farther. Definitely scared but want to make right my previous mistakes. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i have to consolidate my credit cards to one monthy low payment of about 150.00 amonth maybe two hundred i pay on one loan of 4000.00 at 150.00 and that loan was perfect for me now i need another one . is there any way i could get an answer today. if you have to call me you have to do it after 9 at night like now later than 9:30.thats when its quiet for me to talk.

I have been receiving calls daily at my residence in MO for my ex husband from Zwicker & Associates. I have told them we have been divorced 1986. I have also asked them to stop calling me and contact him in CA. What part of this don't they get? What are my rights?
