Hello! I want to know if any of you have received calls and/or messages from a (maybe supposed?) law firm of Sterling & Roberts. No number came up on my cell phone caller ID (it displayed Unknown) but the message says to call 877-904-1716 and reference a file number. The guy on the message says that I am being investigated for check fraud and I or my attorney had to call them and discuss the matter with them or they will file charges with "my county".

I have several medical debts that i would like to settle they are all at one collection agency. Does anybody have an idea on how to write a letter for several accounts?

My boyfriend has a secured loan through citifinancial. he put his Dodge Neon up for collateral. He owes about 10K and he has been paying on it for about 2 years now. They are totally screwing him over with the high interest rate. (about 22 %). How can he get out of this loan? He is willing to give up the car. Would this clear his debt to Citi?

My last unemployment check came a week or so ago. 600.00 for two weeks. That is it! A couple days later I was hired to write articles as a ghost writer for 15.00 ea. for 300 words or more. 4 articles per day X 5 days per week = 300.00 x 2 weeks 600.00. How blessed am I? Now I have another opportunity to sell renewable energy in the form of solar and wind power for commission. One good sale and I am good for a long time! If you are patient and have faith it will happen!

First off, I'm not a deadbeat. Some of these people refer to people as deadbeats for not being able to pay debt and they have no right, their situation is most likely totally different from mine. I was trying to get a decent job for a very long time but all are just minimum wage, i was forced to move home because of a car accident and my gap insurance didn't cover the remainder. I'm sure this is what ARS is calling about. I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY!!! My family doesn't have the money! I'm working a minimum wage job a few days a week and taking care of my sick grandmother the other days!

A bit of history of the situation first: My sister was married for 25 + years. A year ago she left her husband and moved from California where they lived to Arizona. She is currently going through a divorce. I have taken over all her finances because she has MS and the leasons are affecting her brain. When she left her husband July 2009 in their marital home, he was suppose to make the mortgage payments. Unfortunately he didn't as he moved in with his girlfriend in Dec and so the house went in to foreclosure and was auctioned off on Oct 21, 2010.
