I thought I had finally gotten rid of the collectors that were trying to collect for old payday loans. I got a call today from Terry Johnson at Bryan Keith and Associates saying he was calling about a possible fraud case. I did a search and it looks like other people have received calls from this same guy about old payday loans. In this United Legal again but just under a different name? I thought they were finally gone. I have not had any calls for about a year. Do I even need to call the guy back?

Well, I knew it would be coming. Tonight I got a voice mail message from "Mark" at VIP Cash to tell me that he has unusually great news that would save me money on my loan. The only news that he can give me is that they are marking my loan PIF and they are refunding the $1000 that I've overpaid them. I think I'm resending my email to them tonight.

Folks, I was afraid this would happen, and it has. OneClickCash called me at my work even though they've been warned that to do so will get complaints filed by me to the FTC and the NYSAG. In addition, my attorney has been notified of this.

This company is a scam. Called them about a returned check fee they debited against my account. Never knew anything about such a check. Woman I spoke with spoke only broken English and when I protested these false charges she told me they were a government company and had every right to do this. Now I've got to go through all kinds of hell with my bank to try and recover these charges. I can't believe they have the right to do this.

We have tried to consolidate a student loan debt with Wells Fargo but denied because of income to debt ration. We have about $70,000, most of unsecured student loan debt. Unable to make all payments due to lack of a good paying job, thanks to the economy. Is there a way to consolidate to reduce payments in order to be able to pay these debts until a good paying job comes along?

Hi All, I am in a precarious situation and I need good advice immediately. I have $100,00 in CC debts. Everything was going well till I lost my well-settled job 3 months back. I got a new job last month but it doesn't pay me well. After curbing my expenses, I am left with just a $ 140 per month. I have my house to pay $ 1625 per month plus $ 200 for the insurance of my car. My present salary is $ 2300/month. I have been talking to many companies and they suggested the 'BANKRUPTCY' word.

I am being sued by Citibank. If they get a judgement will it be for the full amount sued for? And are my pension and social security income safe from them?

Lost Job and I am current with all but 1 CC (150 days past due) They suggested that I keep paying them to get caught up and not go over 180 days, and not pay someone else being they are current I would have up to 6 months to catch back up, They said keeping past due under 180 days will help keep CR better , once I go over 180 days my CS will be worse for up to 7 years! Should I take her advice!
