I have a payday company that is working with me because I had gotten 4 payday loans and I could not pay them back and I keep getting calls from the lenders and I was told they they are not to be calling me since they have the letter from the payday company. What am I supposed to do to have them stop calling me? I was told to ignore the calls but they are constantly calling me and it is annoying. they are calling me everywhere like work, home and my cell phone

Here's my situation... I have 3 student loans (2 FFELP and 1 private) with Sallie Mae, and since having them since 2002 have had many problems paying them on time, until I was making enough money and now they are current with Sallie Mae in auto debit payment. However, my problem is that I also co-signed for a private loan through Sallie Mae for my then fiancee'. She wasn't paying on her loan due to having to take care of her mom full-time and it eventually defaulted around 2004.

How to make the other party pay for the debt that you co-signed with?

i work for a non profit and can't seem to pay my bills. which is funny because i teach people how to budget their money and pay bill. anyway, i've called a few credit card places and they won't lower my payments or rates or get help unless i lose my job or just don't pay them, i'm told i make too much money to apply for economic hardship but as of right now i have about $100 for the rest of the month.

I live in Colorado and got a nasty phone call (at work) today from a guy who stated he was an attorney who represented many companies and referenced the above lender. His English was horrible. I couldn't understand most of what he was saying and several times through out the conversation asked him to repeat himself because I couldn't understand him. He stated I had defaulted on a internet payday loan and he was advising me of what charges they had against me and that a police officer would either come to my home or my work to issue these court papers and that I would have to go to court.

My wife had a credit card with Chase Bank. In May of thie year, she pasted due to brain cancer. As her husband, can I be made to pay her debt?
