student loan vs credit cards

15 years 4 months ago
I am currently paying down my student loan which is still over 20,000. At the same time I have two delinquint credit cards which are threatning me with a lawsuit if I don't pay up. My question is should I defer my student loan so I will be able to free up cash to negotiate with the credit cars companies and collection agencies?
