I read a book, a few days back, where the author suggested to walk away from credit card debts. He said it is the best solution for many people with too much debt. The book was very convincing, but I'm somewhat nervous. Has anybody else tried it, and if so, what was your experience? The reason that I am asking this ridiculous question is because I am also having around $41,000 in CC debts. Shall I walk away from it? What should I do? :confused:

Just a few weeks ago I checked my credit and found there is a unpaid judgement against me that I had no idea about. This judgement was grant a over a year ago and I had no idea. This is the only negative thing on my credit everything else shows I pay on time but it brought my score way down. After researching I found it was a medical bill in my husbands name from a surgery he had when we were going thru a separation. At the time I called the hospital and gave them his address and never heard anything about the bill again. Less than a year later my husband and I got back together.

this is the first time ive seen my credit report and that LVNV Funding is on it but it says i paid it. well the sears card is still on it saying i owe them, if ive paid the collection agency doesnt that mean that the other should be taken care of? and what does charge off mean? im new to all this

I have many bills i would like to consolidate. I understand I can't do this with the mortgage or the car payments. What about fourwheelers, horse trailers and medical bills?

I live in North Carolina and lost my job last November. The only income is my husband's SS which is direct deposited, and which barely covers our bills. We had to take out 2 payday loans, one with United Cash Loans, the other with Ameriloan. Are these loans legal in NC, and what can we do to get them paid without all the outrageous fees and interest?

I am in Ohio and currently have a loan coming due with no more extensions on the 15th with cashnetusa.com. Are they one of those lenders that must offer me a payment plan if I request it?

Help! I just rec'd a call from a person at ABC PayDay Loans referring to themselves a representing the First National Fraud Department, and that i did not call them back that she would be contacting the local authorities in my area. What can i do??
