I know that most inquiries stay on your credit report for 2 years. If the 2 year window has passed, and the inquiry is still on my report, how do I get rid of them? Will this improve my score?

I sent my letter to Loan point and after they couldn't get anymore money from me they emailed for me to call them and make arrangements. I emailed back that the loan has been PIF and to please mark my account as such. They emailed me again to call. I answered that I couldn't call during business hours and all corespondence needed to be in email form... I haven't heard anymore from them...I can still log into my account and it shows that I owe the full amount borrowed. This is driving me crazy..What do you suggest I do now.. I have filed with BBB, AG, and FTC. Thanks

Hi! Thanks to this forum I found out the loans I had taken over the internet are illegal (I live in Michigan). I have closed my bank account, opened a new one at a different bank and sent over (fax and email) letters to the illegal lenders.

I am an Australian that lived in the US for 10 years and while I was there I managed to rack up $30K in credit card debt through a series of bad luck events (medical expenses for cancer treatment, job loss, loss on sale of a house). I am in default on two internet payday loans. Both loans are illegal in my state. They are for $500 each. I cannot pay them off in one payment. But, I can pay them in installments. I am considering paying $100 a month on each loan for a total of 5 months. Would this be enough for the lender to work with?

Over 2 years ago at the begining of the crisis, my home was foreclosed on. We moved for work out of state and after 6+ months had no offers for sale and no help with short sale or deed in lieu. The home was an 80/20 and all funds were used for the purchase of the home. When the property was sold only the 1st was discharged leaving us with the 2nd as our debt. The bank made a profit of over $23k on the 1st and non of it was applyd to the 2nd.
