One of the companies I wrote to was My Next Paycheck, where I had a $400 loan that I currently pay back biweekly and the loan is in good standing! After I wrote the letter this is the reply I got back: You are mistaken???. We are a Canadian entity and do not fall under your State???s regulatory financial requirements. The loan document you have signed has been legally tested throughout the US and is binding.

It is likely that I will receive a ruling to have my wages garnished by Capital One. I already pay child support and am required to pay for health insurance on my two children. How will wage garnishment law apply to me.

I received a summons to appear in court delivered by the sherriff. I need advice as to how to fight capital one in court.

Hi, your input and thoughts on the following situation is appreciated. Last year in August I started to remodel my house with my credit cards: buying tools, building materials, etc at large chain stores. I was hoping to pay minimal payment of 2% per month over the course of 4-5 years. But then as you well remember the banks hiked the minimal payment rate to 5%. There has been a class action law suit against them (Chase if I remember right) but the consumers lost in the end. I haven't stopped spending, instead maxed out the cards and stopped paying.

I had a car repossessed and WWR filed litigation on the outstanding balance for BB&T bank. I don't deny that I owe the money. In June I made an agreement with WWR to pay $155/bi-weekly until May 2012 which will pay the balance owed in full. I agreed to a direct w/d from my checking account. I received a letter each week when my payment was w/d stating the amount in accordance with our agreement would be w/d from my account and those w/d occurred as scheduled. Then I get a call last week offering to settle for $4000.

I sent first DV to Zwicker that was hired by AmEx and they replied by sending me a copy of the last billing statement. Does it answer to my DV? What should I do? Secondly, it has been a few days since I got their reply letter. TODAY I was out working. Lady stopped by at my home asking for me and my husband told her I was not home. She left.
