Hi If you choose Debt Consolidation for 1 PDL, and 2 Bank backed loans (all done over the Internet).....will this affect your Credit Report negatively?

Hello Forum: What a great resource you have here. I am dealing with 3 cards that I will begin being late (30 day) this month, and can no longer pay. Two are with B of A and one is with Cap One. Anyway, is there a resource on here that I can go to that has a sort of step by step instruction, with time lines, etc. of what to do and in what order so that I can begin the process right in order to get a point that I can negotiate a settlement? I'm sure there's great help on here, just wanted to collapse my time frame in research and get right to the info. Any help would be appreciated.:)

I have a loan with them, I didn't do it online (dont think they have a site), I did it all over the phone. They're located in UT, I'm in PA. Are they illegal?

Hello I was served a warrant in debt sometime ago unfortunately I forgot about it and the date is 09/23/2010, attached is an affidavit of claim that has been notarized, also attached is a summary screen presumably from the collection company Cache LLC. I am quite upset with myself for forgetting about this and am now at crunch time Is the Affidavit still hearsay even if notarized? Affidavit says original creditor is Metris I have no idea who they are!!! Obviously at a minimum I must show up in court!

I sent e-mails today and filed my complaints with the AG's for PA, DE, BBB of DE and MO and also the FTC, etc... how do I know if the pdls got my e-mail I will fax them tomorrow - but was just thinking if I am mailing them certified mail - do I use the address's found on the BBB web site, I feel like they are false address's :rolleyes: and also why do we have these laws against them with our states, FTC, Consumer Agencies, etc. but yet it just seems like the laws are not enforced, if the pdls ignore them.

I opened an acct. with World Fin. Network National Bank in order to get 20% off that days purchases. My total was $116.00. I didn't think about this acct. until I got the 1st statement some time later that rellected a late charge. I was suprised since it was the 1st statement I saw, so i promptly called the phone # on the statement and gave all the information the automated system asked for and was told that i had a 0 balance. I asked my dayghter if she remembers my paying at the store and she thought maybe I did so again I thought nothing of it.

I have had a sudden loss of income starting back in June. We have emergency money to get us by with mortage, auto, utilities and food but nothing else. This has caused me to become behind wiht 3 cards. GM Card (HSBC) 60 days Bank of America 60 days Citi 30 days Bank of America is the only one that has called so far. I spoke with them at about the 40 day point and they said they would check back at the end of the month. GM has sent 2 emails wanting me to call a 800 number and get debrt help. Nothing at all from Citi yet.
