I've been reading alot of your posts for sometime and am hoping i can just get clarification, and HELP before i set forward with cancelling my bank and contacting the few payday loans that i believe i have fulfilled but yet they could still be draining me dry if i'm correct in reading recent posts. I live in New Jersey, are these loans illegal in NJ. I have a loan out w/Payday Loan Yes for $350, i've paid $420 with them taking out $105 every other pay period from 7/30/10.

Is it possible to dispute "premium text" charges that were made by a minor? The company who set-up the account is based in Germany, and according to their T&Cs, the account holder must be "of legal age", which I am assuming is 18, in order to use their services. I now have a $3000 phone bill for charges I never authorized. HELP!!

Hi new here and have found a lot of good info but I still have a few questions. 1. If you quit paying on a card to try to get them to settle what are the odds your other cards that you owe but still pay on will cancel your account ? 2. What if you have a lot of assets such as rental property and cars will they go after them even if they are mortgaged ? 3. Will they go after money you receive from owner financed property notes ? 4. Can the cards I pay raise my interest rates even if I do not use them and continual to pay down the balances ?

I am seriously under water with 5 pay day loans, two of which emerged without my even realizing it. The portals are so confusing that two loans were processed as I attempted to get one. One called to verify, but the other two just sent deposits in my account the next day. On e loan I have been paying since November 09 which I have ow paid $1800 on a $200 loan. All of this began when I got separated and lost all financial support from my husband and I have a little girl. I'm now losing over $1000/mo..
