She then proceeded to call my HR dept to verify employment! I'm so embarrassed because I just started this job not even 90 days ago and now this?! I quickly wrote a cease & desist letter, faxed it over to them.

Hi all. Just found this forum and have been really encouraged by what I read. I'm starting to embark on a debt settlement journey. The bills are getting overwhelming and the minimum monthly payments are becoming impossible to make. I've found lots of good information and success stories with the debt settlement process itself here. However, I'd like to know a little more about the tax consequences of such a settlement.

:oops:I have 3 PDL's I (online) need to consolidate - they total $1002. so I'm not eligible for most of the companies who offer this service (I've only found one (Progressive Loan Assistance), after searching for hours - can anyone recommend others? Their upfront fee is too high for me right now. Also, I'll most likely need to close my checking account since they take automatic payments. The problem is that I also have auto Soc. Sec. deposits, and it falls on the same day two of the loans are due. They (Soc Sec) require 30 days notice to switch to a new account or to send a check.

After a lot of back and forth with Blatt, Hasenmiller, Leibsker & Moore, they have filed an MSJ. This was for an old Capitol One account that is still within SOL. I answered their summons. They replied back with an additional list of questions. I never answered them. Now they have filed for MSJ. Is it too late to do anything? Why don't they have to respond to my answers? The MSJ was sent via regular mail from BHL&M directly.

I currently have roughly $30000 in credit cards debt. I have the cash to pay these off, but would like to know if a program like this would allow me to reduce the payment.
