I also have 4 payday loans and desperately need advice. I have 3 that are store fronts and 1 internet. When my exhusband got behind with support I had to take a loan to pay the utilities and then another for the car and now it's out of hand. I had one to Allied Loans and ended up putting a stop payment which I was told about by their employee. I've made a couple of payments but have not made a payment in over a month. Today I recieved a call from a man saying he was with a company that was contracted by Allied to give them advice on how to handle the situation.

I live in Louisiana and currently have 4 on line payday loans. The amounts are as follows payday one 1000.00, cashnet usa 300.00, extracash live 700.00, and another one for 300.00 but I can't recall the name of the company at this second. I have gotten in over my head and am not able to continue to pay these loans back. I am considering closing my bank account and trying to make arrangemants to pay each one off one at a time. Can they sue me or garnish my check if I do this? I don't know what else to do. I have bouce stoppers at my bank but they carge 25.00 each time and my limit is 700.00 .

Want to find a reputable debt settlement company in New York and would like to know what a reasonable fee would be (I've been quoted 25% of the debt and thought that was kind of high. Also, should I just hire a legal firm? Very confusing.

I am doing a re4fi on my home and when a credit report was oulled there was a debt that I need to resolve. I do not know what this for there was no date just an account #15028306. I would appreciate a telephone call or message as soon as possible so I know what doctor put this on my credit report. The date would also help.

I have gotten a loan $290 from 247 Greenstreet. I live in Iowa and have tried explaining to them that I couldn't pay but wanted to see if they would work with me in order to re-pay the loan. They wouldn't. They tried collecting on the date that it was due, but I had put a hard stop on our checking account preventing them from taking the money. The next day a collection company called telling me that I had to now pay $414.60 by 9/10/10. If I didn't then they would report me to the 3 credit bureaus and also do a wage assignment through my work.

I received a bill from MCM same last name as mine but first name a male that I have no idea who he is. It was a Verizon Wireless bill for $987.48 sent to my address. Where did they get that? I have never had verizon. I called and a guy named Shawn answered and when I told him I don't know this person he said forget about it and hung up. Totally unprofessional

I received a letter from Caine & Weiner for a valid debt. They state "to expedite reinstating access to your eBay account, please go to www.ebay.com, click on the "pay" section of the homepage and follow the login and payment instructions". I have never dealt with eBay for the company that I owe the debt to and when I check my eBay account I am NOT suspended. Amazing tactic - wonder what they think they will accomplish with this tactic. Also wondering if they are talking about PayPal rather than eBay.
