I received a call today, which I did not answer. It was a unidentified called. Saying that I have committed bank fraud. It said I had till the end of the day to call them back. The number they wanted me to call was 202-803-5705. I tried to google but came up with nothing..If you know who this is please tell me.

same thing just happened to me 1-855-642-4064 is the number to call them back. It is very scary and unnerving.

Recieved a notice today that a settlement has been reached ina class action suit involving pd lender Georgia Cash America. Go to: www.GeorgiaCashAmericaSettlement.com for details. I believe there is about 25 million in payouts due to illegal practices by this lender.

I live in Fl. had this payday loan from back in 2010- or 2011. Today I pull my credit report and see a derogatory mark for seaside dollar on a charged off account. If my memory serves me right, I think I might have over paid this loan. Can anyone tell me if they are legal in Fl??

I have 2 internet loans. Both Tribal. Loan 1 is Plan Green Loans Original Amount borrowed $1000 Monthly payment is 121.42 I've made 10 payments totaling 1214.20 Current Principal balance is 825.42 14 remaining payments. Loan 2 is Mobiloans Original Amount: $600 I've added to it 3 times (90,115.50, and 57) So total principal borrowed is 862.50 Looks like i've paid a total of 974.81 Current balance is 580.57 So I've paid more than the principal on both loans. Are these even legal in South Carolina? I can't find anything that says yes or no on any site that looks official.

Decided to start with one loan today and see what my response is. I emailed Plain Green, whom I have paid 1228.64 over the amount I borrowed. I revoked their ACH authorization as well as requested a response of paid in full. I also requested a refund of the 1228.64 of overpayment, but let's face it, that probably will not happen. I am looking forward to getting this weight lifted from my shoulders. Without these forums, I never would have had the guts to send the first company anything. Three more to go!

I received a call from a Howard & Associates about a debt with Mycashnow. Honestly, I have no idea if I took a pay day loan from them as it was 2.5 years ago? I know your supposed to ask for an address and they gave me a PO Box, so not sure if that makes them anymore legit. Somehow the balanace is over $1,500, due to lawyer fees being added on.
