I am in big trouble and need help! I've gotten myself in major trouble with payday loans and I have to find a way out of it. Please help. I am currently still current with them but within the next 2 weeks I will be all in default. I made a terrible mistake and my husband does not know...I lied on the application and said no on the military question and my spouse is in the service. I am in California and need to know what I should do to get out of the this mess I have created.

I disputed a entry on my Credit report from LVNV Funding about 8 months ago and the Credit report states that the consumer disputes this debt. I hadn't heard anything from them since. I now have started getting calls from Plaza Associates at night. I don't normally have my cell phone with me when I am home so I have missed their calls. I called back last night and they had closed already so I didn't get to speak to anyone about it. I only have one charge-off so I believe that is what they are calling about. Is it a violation to transfer the account once it is in dispute?

ccb credit services has finally agreed to settle a debt of $3,120 for $1,000, but on my credit report the acct. will show as "charged off, paid for in full for less of the balance." is this ok? they cannot remove the charged off from my credit... please anyone help?

I have closed my account with PNC. Has anyone experienced them reopening a closed account?

I'm being harassed by some clown who says I owe him $700. Long story short. Somebody got ahold of my debit card info, charged $700 in stereo equipment to my account, I contested and won the chargeback with my bank. I received a letter from the Collection Agency telling me I owed them $700. I said, nope...I contested the charges with my bank since I never made them, and my bank returned the funds to me. I said I was happy to send him a copy of the investigation by my bank.

I received a pre-recorded call from ACN & Associates requesting me to contact Anthony Jamison at 866-426-2470 regarding a payday loan I used called CashNet USA. I paid this debt some time ago and I haven't heard anything else from them by way of a letter of a phone call from CashNet, but out of the blue I receive a recorded message from a supposed company doing business as a debt-collection agency for CashNet.
