There use to be an option so we could remain invisible to other members while we post, was this option removed?

I owe 15k in cc debt and have always paid on time, but circumstances have us pretty screwed. Can't pay and what we could pay $20, isn't going to help anything. What are the odds of a settlement when you live in Iowa. Don't want my wages garnished!!

I have a debt with American Express 10,000+ in Florida. My car has 3 payments left *1600.00 , a Mazda 2005 Tribute 4x4 worth about 8300.00. The exemption in florida is 1,000. I do not want to lose my car! I am in foreclosure, my credit report is tanked with all my cards...20,000 x 3 citi, chase, not yet boa...it's all disintegrating. I received the call from Martin and Hunt, first call thursday, August 19...the post on the internet says they are an aggressive firm...i'm not answering the phone i'm unemployed in medical crisis no income.

My head is spinning with all the things I have read online. To pay a little or none at all. We talked with a debt settlement company but don't feel comfortable with that. We've had a major loss of income and have a large family and don't really know what to do. Should we pay a little bit of something or just hold on and see if they will settle and then borrow some money from a family member or with income tax or what? Don't know what to do. We have about 15k in cc debt. Pathetic, I know.

i have a 9000 school loan and i got a notice only one week before they started garnishing my wages is there any way to go around getting garnished and maybe doing payments cuz its gonna take like 5 years and i cant really afford it its killing my bills

I am getting calls from the Pan American Legal Services. The person, Mr. James told me that I have a loan frm First Bank of Delaware. I did take a loan from FBD back in 2009 but I repaid them. This guy from Pan America told me that I need to pay $2500 within 3 days. He was polite with me for the first 2 calls. The call I got just now, he shouted on me and said he can sue me if he wants if I dont pay. They are a legal service and they are with the Federal Govt. of US.

Ive read from another post somewhere that East Side is a licensed lender in the State of Delaware. Where do I find the licensce number etc???
