Hi everyone, I have found this site most helpful and encouraging! The good news is i am digging myself out of this nightmare, 4 PDL's and two are now paid off. I live in Massachusetts which i have discovered through this site that PDL's are illegal. I plan to pay off the last two next week (they wouldn't let me pay early) but i want to know if I have any recourse in collecting the interest that I have already paid.

I received a phone call yesterday from a man at CFG Holdings in regards to a payday loan I took out with PDL Ventures. He stated that I owed $337 and that last week I made a promise to pay $112 in three installments. I never made this promise, nor did I speak with him. He called from 561-869-4490 He did not identify himself when I called, got very rude with me when I asked what the balance was for, whom the original creditor was, when the loan was taken out or deposited and so forth.

I am using White Light Financial for debt settlement. Up until the last month everything has been going well - now I can't get a return phone call or email. Does anyone have nay info?

I had a "process server" call me and tell me to be home in 2 hours he is coming by to serve me. He said to have a valid form of id and a witness. Do they really do this? He kept asking me to call this 877 number to resolve this issue so he wouldn't have to come out. Is this a ploy to get me to pay a 3rd party for an old debt?

my mortgage is due on the 5th of each month I am due for July 5th and August 5th. I have not received any notices the collector told me not to send amymore money because they will be foreclosing on me?

I used to have an MBNA Visa, that switched to BOA when they merged. I had a balance that I was unable to pay (approx 16000), and eventually the debt was charged off. Then Hanna and assoc got in touch with me. Around this time I started a new career and was able to make payments. So I paid 400 per month for 6 months and 600 per month for the last 6 months to Frederick Hanna and assoc. I was actually happy with the arrangement, interest and fees were stopped and I'd have it paid off next year. Today I got a call from Hanna saying BOA was going to recall my account.

should I make one large payment per month or 4 smaller payments per month on my credit card

OK, so I just received a letter from NCA yesterday involving an old ImpactCashUSA account. I had to go back and look at an old thread I had started because I had posted about ImpactCash harassing my coworkers and myself. The original amount I borrowed was $300, but got two e-mails from them in two days saying I owed around $400 and then $580. I finally got them to respond to an e-mail saying I refused to pay anything over $300 because I found out they were not licensed to lend in Florida and could not charge.

I have 2000.00 equitiy in my house. have 90000 k in cc debt mortage in . if i file bk will i get to keep my house.
