We repeatedly get calls from 813-955-6248 and now 863-578-4580 stating that they are from US National Bank of Florida and are collecting a payday loan debt for another company. They say that we will be arrested and they are calling from the court. They also all and insist on having a warrant against my husband. They state that they will be having him arrested. They have scared him. I have been looking the information on them and notice they are fraudulent, or so I hope. I am concerned. I also called the Atty General Office in Rhode Island.

Is there anything that can be done with Asset once one has agreed to a monthly payment? Over a year ago and before we met, my husband agreed to pay $50/mo. to Asset and it has been debited monthly from his account since. I don't know if he actually signed anything when he made this agreement. My problem with this is 1. I believe the SOL was out on this debt when Asset approached him. (The debt is well over 10 years old and no longer on his CR) and 2. $50 per month isn't even touching the balance (according to their monthly statements) which is accruing excessive interest each month.

I have pdl over the internet and store front. How can I found out if these loans are legal in Texas? I see Cashnet USA is leagal the other 6 I don't know. They are Purpose Money,Payday loan Yes,cashcall,nationwide cash,and Sagamore. Im tired of this cycle and want it to end, i have a attorney calling me about one of them from 3yrs ago. All I remember is i borrowed 200. the next payday i extened the loan they draft my acct for 37.00 that friday then on monday they attempted to draft my acct for 237.00.

hmm I have about 50K in stocks, 180K in debt. trying to consider doing settlement or BK7 (should qualify) I have a few acct. in hardship. I'd hate to lose the stocks to BK but wondering if I should just sell my stocks and wait a few months to do BK/ I used this portfolio to trade stocks an often would make 1,500/month but if I do a bk I won't be able to trade.

I live in California and have a loan through Think Cash an internet company. I missed one payment but have since then have been paying my regular monthly payments. I just haven't made up the missing one yet. It seems like every month my final pay off date gets moved back a month. As it is right now. By the time it is paid off I would have paid $4,680 for a 1,000 dollar loan. thats IF the final date stays the same which it won't. Is that legal ? That doesn't sound right to me ! !
