Ok, I haven't shared the same phone line as my parents in 30 years. I haven't received any phone calls on MY phone, haven't received any correspondence to MY residence that I have lived in 19 years. Today, my elderly parents receive a phone message that states my name and that "this is an attempt to collect a debt" on their answering machine. Is that not illegal if they aren't talking to a PERSON? My elderly parents do not need that stress in their lives and I feel that it violates my privacy.

I sure hope someone here can help me. I've read through a lot of the posts here, and am unsure of the current status of Cash Cure, as a Lender, in illinois. Previously I had read (here and elsewhere) that they weren't license to lend here, and therefore any payday loan issued by them was deemed illegal. I had received a 700 dollar loan at the beginning of July, 2013, and have been paying 200$ on a bi-monthly basis.

I have paid spotloans $950 so far for a loan of $2000, I plan on paying only the principal back as I have sought advice on this forum before, but after contacting spotloans they refuse to agree on this, stating that I must pay the interest & fees as well that have already accumulated. What are my options? What will happen if I say F U and just stop paying back my principal? I don't take kindly to scammers and from what i've seen they've taken double what people have owed them time and time again. before I get stuck in hell of a payday trap, I need to know if My Quick Funds(Bottom dollar payday) is legal in Tx. I can't find anything on My Quick Funds...so I'm a little lost.

Has anyone from MI already gone through the process of fighting back Delbert Services from Michigan? I have already filed my complaint to the DIFS and AG, as well as closed my bank account and sent a C&D to Delbert Services. As of now, I am just receiving a bunch of phone calls (that I'm not answering) but nothing else. Should I expect them to hit my credit report soon? I know MI has halted new loans from Western Sky, but does that deem the existing ones sold off to Delbert as illegal now? For the record, I've paid over $1000 the amount actually deposited to me with this lender.

Anyone familiar with this company? I have sent repeated stop letters to them as I have paid back the principal borrowed plus and the interest they are charging is 249%APR I live in Ohio
